Ingredients
Method
- Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Add the dry ingredients first, and pour the wet ingredients on top. Stir until combined and add your ‘mix-ins’ last (I used pecan pieces).
- Heat a large nonstick pan until hot. (I make a small test pancake and when it starts to cook I know the pan is ready. Then you can taste the pancake and see if there are any adjustments you would like to make).
- Use a ladle to pour batter into pan, into the desired size of your pancakes.
- When bubbles appear on surface, loosen the pancake and flip to the other side until brown.
- Keep hot in a slightly warm oven (or covered) and make the rest of the pancakes. Serve with your favorite toppings, or blueberry maple syrup.

Notes
Whole Wheat Pancakes are a wonderful healthy breakfast option. They're extra-thick, fluffy, and full of a subtle nutty flavor. And they're so easy to make, you'll think you've been cooking for decades! And you'll be surprised at how delicious and healthy these pancakes are! You can even substitute regular flour with whole wheat! And because they're so healthy, you'll probably have to cook more than one batch.
