Hello! I am glad you found me on the big ol’ internet.
My name is Natalie and I am behind this messy kitchen food blog that we call Natalie’s Killer Cuisine.
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and that definitely shows in my cooking. We like to do it big here in Texas and I plan to provide ya’ll with great, flavorful, tested recipes.
Food has been a big part of my life since a young age. My great grandmother had her own cooking show before I was born, and the cook-great-food-and-share-with-the-world gene has passed down 4 generations to myself. I was in my first cooking contest at 8 years old, and enrolled in culinary school at 19, where I trained in all aspects of cuisine with a focus on pastries, which is probably evident in the recipes I like to share! Since then I have worked in kitchens, catered grand parties, and started this little food blog.
Three years ago at 22 my interest in food photography began to outweigh my interest in cooking for people. Today I am a year away from getting my bachelors in fine art (photography). After I graduate school I would like to mesh my two passions, which are obviously food and photography. I am not sure how exactly. When I began culinary school my dreams were to be a pastry chef forever and ever. Then I picked up a DSLR camera and things changed. However, I have big plans!
Until then, enjoy the show.
And please email me! I just love emails!
